April 2010 We feel very fortunate to have our daughters dancing at Stegmann’s this year. Bruce and Angelika clearly love teaching children how to dance, and that enthusiasm shows in all of their interactions with their students. The Stegmanns have been very accommodating in personalizing their dance instruction for each student. They have taken the time to get to know each individual child's dance background, personality, and skill level. Because they truly know their dancers, they can challenge each one to reach his or her maximum potential. Our daughters look forward to their dance classes each week and have learned so much already this year! In fact, our older daughter has learned more in this one year with the Stegmanns than she had in her three previous years of dance classes combined. Angelika and Bruce have high expectations for their students and are truly committed to their dancers' education. EVERY student receives personal attention at Stegmann’s, and it shows in the quality and caliber of their dancing. Our experience at Stegmann’s School of Performing Arts has been overwhelmingly positive in so many respects. We look forward to many more years of wonderful dance instruction for our daughters. Tracy Seely October 2009 Our daughter began dance at SSPA when the doors first opened in 2007 and our son began guitar lessons there the following year. We see no reason to ever look elsewhere for art instruction! Angelika is knowledgeable not only in what is aesthetically lovely but in the physiology of growing dancers. She challenges them with incredibly high expectations but also knows how to ensure they are not injuring themselves with moves too advanced for their stage of physical development. Our daughter had progressed more in dance knowledge, understanding, and gracefulness during her two years here than in her four years of prior study combined. Guitar instructor Zach Nichols has gone out of his way to work with us in creating challenging long and short term goals. Zach incorporates music that is appealing to our son, while never neglecting fundamentals of scales, chords, and technique. We are extremely pleased with the continued progress we see in our sons' musicianship. We also greatly appreciate the convenience of having guitar lessons take place during ballet class, and all under one roof! We feel our daughter has grown in her knowledge and love of dance. Thank you! Wendy May July 2009 We were looking for a place for our kids to take dance classes. My daughters wanted to take different types of dance. One wanted to take Ballet and the other wanted to take Tap. We could not find another place here in Spring Hill that would let them take the different types of dance that they were interested in. When we went to meet the Stegmanns they were VERY welcoming and understood each need of our girls. They also had the classes that allowed them to do what they enjoyed. The girls grew in learning the basics of each form of dance and fell in love with Mr. Bruce and Miss Angelika. The Stegmanns are both wonderful teachers that have a HUGE love for children. They are both very patient, which allows them to connect with the children on each child's level.
